Position: Marketing Relations Intern - Church Hosts

Scope: Serve on the Marketing Team by helping organize new contacts to take them on a personalized journey from a new lead to a Connect Camps Host!

Marketing Team: The Marketing Team exists to help churches meet new people in their communities. We currently execute this through two main marketing functions: Digital Marketing and Church Recruiting. 

Reports To: Marketing Relations Coordinator

Responsibilities: 

• Assist with Connect Ministries CRM

• Build relationships with qualified leads in the Connect Camps sales process

• Build email marketing campaigns geared towards camp hosts to build the email list.

• Assist Build a Connect Camps Hosts 6-month marketing email/text campaign for Chruch Hosts. 

• Assist in creating resources for Connect Camps Hosts

• Lead the Connect Camps Big Board

• Lead with communication through CRM to churches 

• Assist with marketing team scoreboard

• Attend one Trade Show for marketing purposes 

• Participate in Marketing Team Development opportunities from industry professionals

Requirements:

• Applicant must be an evangelical believer actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith daily; agrees and supports the vision, values, and philosophy of Connect Ministries.

• Relationship-minded, Kingdom- driven, & task-oriented servant leader

• Summer Staff Experience preferred

• Excellent communication skills, management, & organization

• Interest in & compatibility with our mission & vision statement

• Desire to get out of the office & build external relationships

• Demonstrate presence, self-confidence, common sense, & good listening ability

• Ability to work with database & word processing software

• Willing to learn and grow  with CRM Platforms
